Best Home Alarm System

Whether you’re a budding egomaniac or a power hungry business tycoon bent over world domination, when it comes to choosing home security the rules are simple and same for everyone.

Home Alarm Necessities

There are some of you out there, keeping a couple of pet sharks, laser beam machines and other flashy things not knowing what you really need. You should have a clear idea of your security needs, like how many doors and windows that need to be monitored by your home alarm system. You don’t have to buy very costly high tech security burglar system if you live an apartment. A basic alarm is more than enough.

Keeping a huge number of strong but mindless guards is a waste of money. Home alarm system these days are practically made fool proof (Yes, I’m looking at you Mr. Bond)

Find A Good Home Security Company

Search the internet, newspapers, magazines..etc. and find a good home security company, not the one that sends over thugs who throw steel-rimmed hats at your opponents. Ask around, maybe your equally evil friends might know some really great home security companies.

What do you need

Figure out how many alarm gadgets you need like the number of door sensors, alarm panels, remote keys, motion sensors, sirens…etc. Usually the company sends over one of its representatives, whom you should NOT feed to your pet sharks. That’s NOT cool anymore…

The representatives can look around your house (err…evil “headquarters”) and make an account of all the number of electronic gadgets and other equipments you may need, so that you can attend to your own matters, like world domination and counterfeiting baseball cards.

Purchase a User Friendly Home Alarm System

You never know when your sexy girl friend or secretary swoons to the charms of “The name’s Bond….” So you need to make sure it will be easy for you to learn the features and functions of the system in case you need to operate it yourself and you don’t have anyone around to help you with that.

I repeat: Choose the ones that are user friendly, not burglar friendly. It shouldn’t be easy for anyone from down the street to operate it with very little effort.

Budget

You know you have a lot of monthly expenses, like buying that missile, buying pet food for your sharks when door-to-door salesmen become scarce so talk to your monitoring company about what you really need. Perhaps you don’t really need fire or carbon monoxide monitoring.
